NWU USSA Rugby 7s Teams are Crowned Champions

With a commanding 10-0 victory over Tuks last weekend in Kimberly, the NWU USSA rugby 7s team captured the 2023 USSA Rugby 7s title.

The women were competitive and didn't back down as they defeated Maties 14-12 in the semifinals, while they swept through UFH 24-5 in the quarterfinals.

The men’s side didn’t disappoint as they defended their title by a clinical 21-5 victory over Bellville Boys.

They proceeded to the semifinals after defeating CUT by a score of 31-12 in a game that required extra time, while they overcame Tuks by a score of 27-14 in the quarterfinals.
