Glencore North West Dragons Win Women's One Day Domestic Match

On Saturday, October 7, 2023, the Glencore North West Dragons team defeated Easterns to win their first Women's One Day domestic match at JB Marks Oval in Potchefstroom.

Dragons, captained by Nthabiseng Nini, won by 129 runs, losing just one wicket, and Deidre Van Rensburg scored a half-century.

Easterns were 30/4 after 13 overs, and after 31 overs, they had scored 89 runs with a loss of 5 wickets. Easterns were shut out with 128 runs after 42 overs.

Dragons performed a great job of just losing one wicket while scoring 129 runs.
The toss was won by the Dragons, who decided to bowl first.

They will meet Easterns in a Women's Provincial T20 match on Sunday at 10:00 at JB Marks Oval.
